JACKSON STRIKES IN OVERTIME TO LIFT BULLETS PAST ETOWN, 1-0 ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Whitney Jackson scored in the ninth minute of the first sudden death overtime period to give Gettysburg a 1-0 win over Elizabethtown in Mid-Atlantic region action on Wednesday. With the loss, the Blue Jays fell to 4-5 on the season. Patsy Cors picked up an assist on the winning goal for her first point of the 1998 season. Beth O'Boyle needed only one save to record her third shutout of the year for Gettysburg (6-2). Andrea Thompson and Kristy Wade led the Etown offense with two shots apiece. Lisa Blanker made four saves in the Blue Jay nets. Etown returns to action on Saturday, September
26 at home against Lebanon Valley. Game time is 11 a.m.
