ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Andrea Thompson and Kristy Wade each
scored a hat trick to lead Elizabethtown past Lebanon Valley, 9-0, in MAC
Commonwealth League action on Saturday. With the win, the Blue Jays
improved to 5-5 overall and 2-0 in the league.
With her three goals, Wade became the second player
in program history to score 50 career goals. The team record of 63
career goals is held by Amy Hyde. Through ten games, Wade
leads the Blue Jays with 14 goals and 33 points.
Etown also got goals from Toni Stern, Brienne
Spangler and Denise Gordon to break its first three-game losing
skid since 1995. Jen Helsel added two assists in the winning
effort.
The victory was the Blue Jays' 16th consecutive
win in regular season league play.
Etown returns to action on Tuesday, September 29
at Messiah College. Game time is 7 p.m.
