ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE WOMEN'S SOCCER BLUE JAYS STIFLE SUSQUEHANNA, 2-0 SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- Elizabethtown improved its record to 5-0 in the MAC Commonwealth Conference Tuesday and extended its winning streak to eight games with a 2-0 shutout victory over Susquehanna on the road. The Blue Jays dominated their opponents, outshooting the Crusaders 24-4. The Blue Jays first goal came at 38:13 into the game by Rachel Chieppa (North Catasauqua, PA/Catasauqua). The final nail in the Crusaders coffin was driven by Toni Stern (New Holland, PA/Garden Spot) on an assist from Christy Callahan (Dallas, PA/Dallas) at 82:27. Etown goaltender Lisa Blanker (Pennsville NJ/Pennsville) recorded her fourth blanking of the season while making four saves. Susquehanna freshman Dorn McMahon made 13 stops for the Crusaders. The Blue Jays (10-3) return to action Saturday, October 9 at home against Messiah. Game time is noon. at Elizabethtown, Pa.
