ETOWN SLIPS PAST JOHNS HOPKINS, 1-0

BALTIMORE, Md. --- Elizabethtown sneaked a goal off a corner kick past Johns Hopkins in the 87th minute of regulation time Thursday to win its 13th game of the season by a 1-0 score.

The goal was scored by Suzy Uber (Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) when the corner kick was served directly in front of the net by Christy Callahan (Dallas, PA/Dallas).

Etown goaltender Lisa Blanker (Pennsville, NJ/Pennsville) made five saves and picked up her seventh shutout of the season.

Elizabethtown (13-5, 7-0) returns to action in the final game of the regular season at home against SUNY-Oneonta Saturday, October 23. Game time is 2:30 p.m.
