BLUE JAYS ADVANCE TO MAC FINALS WITH 1-0 WIN OVER DREW

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown advanced to the MAC Championship game for the fourth consecutive year by defeating Drew in the first round, 1-0, Wednesday. The Blue Jays are now 14-6 overall.

Despite outshooting the Rangers 14-0, Elizabethtown did not manage to score until the 84th minute of the game, when Toni Stern (Ephrata, PA/Garden Spot) hit the net on a corner kick by Dina Jingoli (Morrisville, PA/Notre Dame, NJ).

Lisa Blanker (Pennsville, NJ/Pennsville) was credited with her eighth shutout of the year.

The Blue Jays will return to action in the MAC Championship Saturday on the road at the University of Scranton. Game time is to be announced.
