ETOWN FALLS TO SCRANTON IN MAC CHAMPIONSHIP, 1-0

SCRANTON, Pa. --- Elizabethtown got in the way of the University of Scranton juggernaut in the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship Saturday, but it did not go under easily. Etown lost only 1-0 to a Scranton team which has now won 16 consecutive games.

Scranton (19-2) got its only goal 30:29 into the first half, and that was all it needed to win its ninth MAC Championship.

Elizabethtown falls to 14-7 on the season and now looks forward to the NCAA Tournament, in which it will play next, location and time to be determined.
