ETOWN DEFEATS MORAVIAN, 3-2, TO START COMMONWEALTH SEASON

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Nicole Hundley (Lititz, PA/Manheim Township) scored the winning goal in the 79th minute to put Elizabethtown ahead of Moravian for the first time in its 3-2 Commonwealth Conference season-opening victory Saturday. With the win, Elizabethtown is now 4-5 overall and 1-0 in the conference.

Moravian (7-2, 2-1), which entered the game with a seven game winning streak, vaulted to a 2-0 first half lead only to see the Blue Jays score on a goal by Dina Jingoli (Morrisville, PA/Notre Dame, NJ) with 11 seconds remaining in the half.

Elizabetown tied the score when Andrea Thompson scored six minutes into the second half.

The Blue Jays return to action on the road against Albright Wednesday, September 27. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
