Etown Defeats Lebanon Valley, 2-0, Blue Jays Improve to 10-2 Overall

ANNVILLE, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown women's soccer team, ranked 15th in the nation for the second consecutive week, defeated Lebanon Valley 2-0 on the road to improve to 10-2 overall and 2-1 in the Commonwealth Conference. The women's soccer squad is Etown's first team this fall to reach the 10-win plateau. Lebanon Valley falls to 8-3 overall and 2-2 in the conference with the loss.

Dina Jingoli (Morrisville, PA/Notre Dame-NJ) scored Etown's first goal with 18:20 remaining in the first half. Eileen Fretz (Stroudsburg, PA/Notre Dame) added the second goal with 9:47 left in the game. Shannon Don (Haddonfield, NJ/Haddon Heights) and Becky Wise (Red Lion, PA/Red Lion) assisted Fretz' goal.

Elizabethtown returns to action Saturday, October 6, on the road against Westminster. Game time is 2:00 p.m.
