Spangler Strikes Twice as Etown Defeats Susquehanna, 2-0

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Brienne Spangler (Leola, PA/Warwick) scored both goals in Elizabethtown's 2-0 home victory over Commonwealth Conference rival Susquehanna Thursday as the Blue Jays, ranked 20th in the nation, improved to 13-3 overall and 5-1 in the conference.

Spangler scored her first goal on an assist from Courtney Phillips (Mechanicsburg, PA/Mechanicsburg) at 6:11. She scored again on a breakaway at 20:46.

Elizabethtown outshot the Crusaders 15-6. Susquehanna goaltender Melissa Kerschner made nine saves.

Elizabethtown returns to action Saturday, October 20 at home against Juniata for its final regular season game. Game time is noon.
