Etown Defeats Franklin and Marshall, 2-0, for First Win of Season

LANCASTER, Pa. --- Elizabethtown got its first win of the 2002 season and snapped a three-game losing skid with a 2-0 road win over Lancaster County rival Franklin and Marshall Wednesday evening.

Courtney Phillips (Mechanicsburg, PA/Mechanicsburg) got Etown on the scoreboard with a goal in the first half, and Rebecca Young (Macungie, PA/Emmaus) extended the lead to 2-0 in the game's final minute. Unfortunately, no other details are available at the present time.

Etown returns to action on the road at the SUNY-Oneonta Tournament Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15. Etown plays its first game against Wellesley Saturday.
