ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE WOMEN'S SOCCER Etown Blows Out Conference Rival Albright 7-0, Keeley Trumbo Tallies First Career Goal and Hat Trick ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabehtown put an end to a three-game losing streak in convincing fashion by blasting Commonwealth Conference rival Albright 7-0 at home Thursday. The Blue Jays improve to 7-3-2 overall an 1-1 in the conference with the win, while Albright drops to 4-8-2 overall and 0-4 in the Commonwealth. Etown first-year Keeley Trumbo (Jeffersonville, PA/Great Valley) not only scored her first collegiate goal in the game, she also got her first collegiate hat trick as she scored the Blue Jays' second through fourth goals in the span of just over 28 minutes in the first half. Courtney Phillips (Mechanicsburg, PA/Mechanicsburg) tallied three assists in the game, and Becca Young (Macungie, PA/Emmaus) had one assist and scored one goal. Katierose Riegger (Jarrettsville, MD/Catholic-Baltimore) scored the game's opening goal just 3:18 after the opening whistle, and Lindsay Brown (Myerstown, PA/ELCO) scored the game's final goal at 66:54. Becky Wise (Red Lion, PA/Red Lion Area) added a single goal near the close of the first half to give Etown a 5-0 lead going into halftime. It was the first goal of the season for all three players. Etown held Albright to only one shot the entire game, as sweeper Megan Halladay (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) paired with defenders Elyse Campbell (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley), Dana Moyer (Harleysville, PA/North Penn), Shannon Don (Haddonfield, NJ/Haddon Heights), Lindsey Bosko (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn Area) and others to smother Albright's attack. Goalkeeper Dawn Mellen (Warren, NJ/Watchung Hills Regional) made her first collegiate start and made the Blue Jays lone save while playing the first 73:15. Kelly Hinkle (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) played the final 16:45 in the Etown goal to share the shutout with Mellen.
