Susquehanna Defeats Elizabethtown 3-0

SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- Elizabethtown dropped to 7-6 overall and 2-1 in the Commonwealth Conference with a 3-0 road loss to Susquehanna University Wednesday night. Susquehanna improved to 9-3-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the conference with the win.

Elizabethtown held a 15-10 advantage in shots, but the host Crusaders wound up with all three of the game's goals. Lindsay Knowlton scored off an Erin Coffey assist at 42:24 to give Susquehanna a 1-0 lead going into halftime. In the second half, Lindsay Nevins scored twice off assists by Alecia Gold at 64:30 and 71:50 to seal the Susquehanna victory.

Elizabethtown will return to action at home Saturday, October 16 against Ursinus College at 2:00 p.m.
