ANNVILLE, Pa. --- Junior Brooke Dotterer (Spring City, PA/Owen J. Roberts) capped off a three-goal performance by scoring the winning goal with 6:16 remaining in double overtime as 20th-ranked Elizabethtown College defeated Lebanon Valley College 3-2 in Commonwealth Conference women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon.

The victory was the eighth in a row for the Blue Jays (13-1-1 overall, 1-0-0 Commonwealth) and extended their unbeaten streak to 14 matches, breaking the school record of 13 straight matches without a loss set during the 1996 season.

Dotterer, who leads the team with eight goals on the season, scored twice in the first half before scoring the game-winner in overtime off an assist by senior Jenny Fromuth (Wyomissing, PA/Wyomissing), as the Flying Dutchmen (8-5-1 overall, 0-1-0 Commonwealth) rallied from a 2-0 deficit to force overtime on a goal by Kristen Hoover with 12:22 remaining in the second half.

For Dotterer, it was her third career hat trick and the second in as many games for an Elizabethtown player, as junior defender Gretchen Geiger scored three times in a 4-0 win over Susquehanna University on Wednesday afternoon.

Dotterer opened the scoring at 12:22 off an assist by Fromuth and extended the Blue Jay lead to 2-0 with 7:34 left in the first half by heading home a cross by junior Jenna Russo (Florham Park, NJ/Hanover Park) with a second assist to sophomore Christina Sheppard (Millville, NJ/Millville).

Jennifer DiMauro scored with 4:56 left in the first half with an assist to Hoover to pull Lebanon Valley within 2-1 at halftime, and Hoover tied the match late in the second half to force overtime.

The Blue Jays finished with a 21-6 advantage in shots and took all nine corner kicks in the match.

Junior Angela Freeland (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) finished with two saves in goal for the Blue Jays to improve her record to 7-0-1 on the season, while Erika Ely made 12 stops for the Flying Dutchmen.
