ETOWN FALLS TO MAC FINALIST DREW, 8-1, IN '98 OPENER

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Drew swept all six singles matches without dropping a set en route to an 8-1 win over Elizabethtown in the 1998 season opener for both teams.

Etown's No. 3 doubles team of Jessica Orlosky and Heidi Habegger picked up an 8-5 win over Amy McNeece and Natalya Katsap for the Jays' lone victory of the day.

The Blue Jays (0-1) return to action on Saturday, September 12 at home against the University of Scranton.  Match time is 1 p.m.
