ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown suffered a tough defeat at the hands of Franklin and Marshall Tuesday, falling by a score of 9-0.

The Blue Jays (2-3) came close to scoring points in the match in doubles, as Whitney Bull (Berwick, PA/Berwick) and Jen Smith (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale) went down fighting to the Diplomats' Shauna Riedel (Telford, PA/Christopher Dock) and Leah Rubin (Kingston, PA/Wyoming Valley West), by a slim 8-6 margin.

The Blue Jays' next match is away against Albright Saturday, September 18.  Match time is 11:00 a.m.
