ETOWN FALLS TO MORAVIAN, 7-2

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown hosted Moravian Thursday in a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth League match and lost 7-2 to the Greyhounds. Etown falls to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the MAC Commonwealth with the loss.

The Blue Jays' wins came at number three doubles, where Jen Smith (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale) and Kathryn Green (St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada/Prince of Wales) defeated Moravian's Jill Simms and Julie Simms 8-5, and at number three singles, where Smith defeated Christie Sieger 7-5, 7-6. The doubles team of Smith and Green is now 5-0 this season.

Etown returns to action on the road at Susquehanna Saturday, September 30. Match time is 11:00 a.m.
