ETOWN FALLS TO MESSIAH, 8-1

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown hosted Messiah for Homecoming Saturday and fell to the Falcons, 8-1. With the loss, Etown falls to 4-6 overall and 2-3 in the MAC Commonwealth League. Messiah, meanwhile, improves to 9-1 overall and 7-0 in the MAC Commonwealth.

Etown's only win came at number one doubles from the team of Whitney Bull (Berwick, PA/Berwick) and Erin Thompson (Middlebury, CT/Pomperaug).

The Blue Jays return to action Sunday, October 11 on the road against Lebanon Valley, in a make-up of a previously rained out match. Match time is 1:00 p.m.
