Lisa Mervine and Heather Lander Fall in Quarterfinals of MAC Individual Championships

MADISON, N.J. --- The doubles tandem of Heather Lander (Accident, MD/Northern Garrett) and Lisa Mervine (Reading, PA/Governor Mifflin) fell to the number two seeded doubles team from Wilkes, 6-2, 6-2, in the quarterfinal round of the 2003 Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships Sunday morning at Drew University.

Lander and Mervine were one of three Elizabethtown entries to reach the quartefinals, as Mel Parenteau (Marydel, MD/North Caroline) and Kristy Trimbey (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West), Etown's other doubles entry, fell in the quarterfinals Saturday, as did singles entry Stacy Shapiro (Audubon, PA/Methacton).
