Elizabethtown Competes at Widener Invitational

CHESTER, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown College women's track and field team participated at the Widener Invitational on Saturday, at the site of the upcoming Middle Atlantic Conference championships.

Graduate student Lori Havrilak (West Grove, PA/St. Mark's, DE) finished seventh in the 400 meters (1:01.22) and first-year student Kristin Bowen (West Chester, PA/Downingtown West) was 11th in the 1500 meters (5:01.17).

In field events, senior Jenna Riley (Reading, PA/Reading Central Catholic) took third in the triple jump (35 feet, 1/2 inch) and was seventh in the long jump (15 feet, 1/2 inch).

Senior Samantha Adams (Mickleton, NJ/Padua Academy, DE) placed fifth in the pole vault (9 feet, 6 1/4 inches) with first-year student Lauren Riley (Sanatoga, PA/Pottsgrove) in eighth place at the same height.

Junior Chelsea Miles (Media, PA/Penncrest) finished sixth in the triple jump (33 feet, 1 3/4 inches) and tied for seventh in the high jump (4 feet, 9 3/4 inches),

First-year student Sarah DeGeorge (Butler, PA/Butler) was 10th in the hammer throw (69 feet, 9 inches) and 12th in the discus (97 feet, 3 inches).
