Elizabethtown Finishes Fourth at Waynesburg Invitational

WAYNESBURG, Pa. --- Elizabethtown finished fourth out of 14 scoring teams at the Waynesburg Invitational Saturday, traversing a 6000m course that will serve as the host site of the 2006 Mideast Regional Championship in November. The Blue Jays’ score on the day was 92.

Erin Fisher '08 finished eighth overall.

Etown’s top finisher was junior Erin Fisher (McEwensville, PA/Warrior Run), who placed eighth out of 149 finishers in 23:39. Senior Erin Deihl (Aaronsburg, PA/Penns Valley) came in 15th for Etown in 24:22, while sophomore Tiffany Kulp (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge) chased down 17th place in 24:32. Also finishing in the top 25 was sophomore Amanda Daws (Thorofare, NJ/West Deptford), who placed 25th in 24:51.

Elizabethtown will return to action at the Dickinson Invitational Saturday, October 7.
