Elizabethtown Women Finish 10th at Paul Short Run, Erin Fisher Places Second Overall

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown College women's cross country team competed at the Paul Short Run on the campus of Lehigh University on Friday afternoon.

The Blue Jays finished 10th out of 33 teams in the 6,000-meter White meet for Division II and Division III schools, while senior Erin Fisher (McEwensville, PA/Warrior Run) finished second overall with a time of 21:55 that was only eight seconds behind individual champion Kristen Carter of Grove City College.

Junior Tiffany Kulp (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge) took 47th with a time of 24:14, first-year student Kristen O'Brien (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) was 50th with a time of 24:20, and sophomore Megan VanDenHengel (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) finished in a time of 24:26 and took 55th place for the Blue Jays.

SUNY Cortland won the team championship with 158 points, followed by Grove City (167), Trinity College (185) and Allegheny College (190).
