MagPortal-- Well-structured, large, searchable, annotated directory of free magazine articles online, including those in international affairs topics.
MetaGrid-- Directory and search engine for thousands of newspapers and magazines online, by topic, country, or world region.

Global Security Newswire-- From the Nuclear Threat Initiative and the National Journal Group, daily news and analysis on nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, terrorism and related issues, with summaries and links to key articles from news media around the world plus original reporting from Washington and elsewhere.
Institute for War & Peace Reporting-- News, analysis, reports, media programs, free e-mail bulletins, and links about current world conflicts.

New York Times-- Fine international section. Site features a free searchable archive of full-text NYT news items back to 1851. Note the Times College Web Site with features (some international) for students and faculty.
