ETOWN DEFEATS JUNIATA, 80-54, BLUE JAYS NOW 12-3

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown completed the first half of its Commonwealth Conference schedule Saturday with an 80-54 victory over Juniata. With the win, the Blue Jays improve to 12-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference, while Juniata falls to 9-7 overall and 2-5 in the Commonwealth.

Etown took an early lead over the Eagles and never looked back, building a 38-17 lead by halftime. 48 of Etown's points came from off the bench, and all 16 players on the Blue Jays' roster scored.

Etown was led by Matt Nikoloff (Grove City, PA/Grove City) with 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Rocky Parise (Harrisburg, PA/Bishop McDevitt) scored 10 points and had two assists, and Britt Moore (West Stockbridge, MA/St. Joes) erupted off the bench to score 10 points and pull down six rebounds in only 10 minutes of playing time.

Josh Tyler led Juniata with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Etown returns to action at home Monday, January 22 at home against Dickinson. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
