ETOWN FALLS TO ALBRIGHT, 71-65

READING, Pa. --- Elizabethtown saw its six game winning streak come to an end with a down-to-the-wire, 71-65 road loss to Albright Saturday night. With the loss, Etown falls to 14-4 overall and 6-3 in the Commonwealth Conference, while Albright improves to 12-5 overall and 6-3 in the conference.

Albright led by only two points with less than a minute to go, but a pair of Etown fouls in the final 30 seconds swung the score further in Albright's favor.

The Blue Jays were led by Matt Nikoloff (Grove City, PA/Grove City), who scored 12 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead the team. Brian Loftus (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) also scored 12 points for the Blue Jays.

Etown returns to action at home Tuesday, January 30 against conference rival Messiah. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
