Elizabethtown Downs Rutgers-Camden 75-70 

ELIZABETHTOWN , Pa. --- Elizabethtown College won its second game in a row Saturday evening, downing Rutgers-Camden on the road 75-70 to improve to 4-5 overall. Rutgers-Camden dropped to 4-6 overall with the loss.

Elizabethtown shot 52.9% (27-for-51) from the field and 50% (7-for-14) from three point range. The Blue Jays also out-rebounded Rutgers-Camden 31-22.

Chad Piersol (Elverson, PA/Owen J. Roberts) came off the bench and led Elizabethtown in scoring with 20 points and in rebounds with five. Kris Kieres (Barnesville, PA/Mahanoy Area) added 12 points, and Greg Brizek (Sinking Spring, PA/Conrad Weiser) scored 10 points for the Blue Jays. Nick Kennedy (Wyomissing, PA/Wyomissing Area) added 10 points from off the bench for Elizabethtown.

Sydney Francis and Wayne Smalls led Rutgers-Camden in scoring with 18 points each, and Joshua Askew added 16 points.

Elizabethtown will return to action at home Wednesday, January 3 against Gettysburg College at 7:00 p.m.
