SCRANTON ENDS ETOWN'S SEASON, 82-63, IN MAC QUARTERFINALS
SCRANTON, Pa. ---T.J. McNulty scored 25 points and Jason Fisher added 17 as Scranton defeated Elizabethtown, 82-63, in the quarterfinals of the Middle Atlantic Conference playoffs on Tuesday. With the loss, the Blue Jays finished their season at 15-10.
Playing in their final collegiate games, Brad Karli led the Blue Jays with a season-high 14 points while Ryan Billet added 13 to finish his career with 1,625 points, good for fourth on the Etown all-time list. Fellow senior Dan Andros added nine points and a team-high seven rebounds.
The Royals (16-9), who will face Albright in the MAC semifinals, held Etown to 39 percent shooting from the field on the night and outrebounded their guests 42-28. Scranton's Pat McDonough led all players with 12 boards while McNulty added seven rebounds and a game-high six assists.
