ETOWN DEFEATS DICKINSON, 97-88, CLIMBS BACK TO .500

CARLISLE, Pa. --- Elizabethtown defeated Dickinson for the second time in just over two weeks Monday, this time winning 97-88 at the Red Devils' home turf. With the non-conference win, Etown reaches the .500 mark once again with its overall record now at 8-8. Dickinson falls to 7-8 overall.

Bob Porambo (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) led the scoring for Etown with 24 points. Mark Sweet (Sadsburyville, PA/Coatesville) scored 18 points, dished out five assists, and pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds, while Ross Unruh (Denver, PA/Cocalico) also scored 18 points while going four for six from behind the three point line. Matt Nikoloff (Grove City, PA/Grove City) scored 13 points for the Blue Jays and grabbed nine rebounds.

Jon Schwadron led Dickinson with 17 points and seven rebounds.

Etown returns to MAC Commonwealth action Wednesday with an 8:00 p.m. home game against Lebanon Valley.
