Newell also had an assist to tie for the team lead in points with four. Allen Churchman (Aston, PA/Garnet Valley) also totaled four points with a team high of four assists.

Also contributing to the Blue Jays' onslaught were Matt Seiboth (Havertown, PA/Haverford) and Justin Griffey (Aberdeen, MD/Aberdeen), each of whom scored two goals and contributed one assist. Brian Ginter (Newtown Square, PA/Marple Newtown), Tom Fillippo (Malvern, PA/Great Valley), and Mike Dunn (Upper Darby, PA/Monsignor Bonner) each had one assist for the Blue Jays, and Dunn scooped up a team high of nine ground balls.

Brian Burke (Upper Darby, PA/Haverford) minded the net for the first three quarters of the game for Etown and allowed just one goal while making four saves.

Elizabethtown out-shot Misericordia 31-12 and held a 15-3 advantage in face-offs. The Blue Jays also totaled 35 ground balls against 18 for Misericordia.
