Elizabethtown Edges Juniata 2-1

HUNTINGDON, Pa. --- Elizabethtown improved to 11-2-1 overall and 5-0 in the Commonwealth Conference with a 2-1 road win over Juniata College Wednesday. Juniata dropped to 4-11-1 overall and 0-4-1 in the conference with the loss.

All three of the game's goals came in the first half, with Etown's Brian Healy (Newark, DE/A.I. DuPont) scoring first off a Rick Winstanley (Manchester, UK/St. Gabriel's) assist 13:30 after the opening whistle.

Juniata tied the game 1-1 when Josh Cady scored off a Kenneth Wiles assist at 22:30. At 42:52, Etown went up 2-1 when Brian Zalasky (Milford, PA/Delaware Valley), assisted by Jeff Boushell (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg), scored off a corner kick.

Juniata played down one man for the final 28 minutes of the game following a red card at 61:14.
