Etown Falls to Goldey-Beacom, 3-1

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown saw its losing streak extended to three matches with a 3-1 loss to Goldey-Beacom at home Saturday. Etown lost the first two games, 30-22, 30-21, and won the third, 30-24, befored falling in a close fourth game, 32-30. Etown drops to 10-11 overall with the loss, while Goldey-Beacom improves to 16-7.

Emily Morris (Canton, PA/Canton) led the Blue Jays with 13 kills and 20 digs. Sarah Klunk (New Oxford, PA/New Oxford) paced the team with four service aces, and setter Tess Romiti (Ellicott City, MD/Seton Keough) had an unusually high kill total of 10 while making 33 assists and 12 digs.

Elizabethtown returns to action at home Monday, October 22 against Penn State-Altoona. Match time is 6:30 p.m.
